Now Hiring - Customer Support/Sales Representative (2-Way Radios/Retail Electronics) in Rock Hill, SC

Our company is based in Rock Hill, SC and has been in business for 20 years. We are a retailer of communications products; particularly two way radios covering amateur radio, business, GMRS, FRS, marine and airband communications.

We are currently looking to expand our inside sales team, and we are looking for motivated individuals who are experienced with or have an interest in two way radios, amateur / ham radio, or related products that enjoy working in a technical sales / customer service environment.

Required:

• Excellent communication skills (phone, online chat, email, and face to face)
• Two years inside sales / customer service experience in a high volume business to business or online environment
• Basic understanding of two-way radio communications
• Solid computer skills (email, typing, spreadsheets, web research and online tools)
• Technical aptitude and the ability to become an expert on our product line
• Comfortable working with a large number of customers, including both small and large businesses and individuals
• High school diploma

Desired:

• Five years sales or customer service experience
• Hands-on experience with two way radios for consumer and/or business use
• Licensed amateur / ham radio operator
• Experience developing sales contacts and sales leads
• Experience working with federal and state agencies
• Experience working as a corporate representative at trade shows and industry events
• Experience submitting bids to corporations and non-profit organizations

Work hours are Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays during busy season or as needed), 8:30am-6:00pm. Hourly position, $15-$22/hour based upon experience plus some bonus/commission opportunities. Health/dental insurance, 401k, paid vacation time.
